  • Please note that Cathedral entry is not available on Sundays.
  • Duomo entry requires queuing at the main entrance.
  • The Cathedral is an active place of worship and may be closed to visitors at any time for liturgical services or religious ceremonies, without prior notice.
  • Both the Duomo Museum and the Florence Baptistery are scheduled to be visited; however, depending on timing and availability, the tour may include only one of the two sites.
  • You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral's dress requirements. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
  • Unannounced renovation work is often done during the off-season. Crowds are expected during the high season.
  • The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
  • Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
  • It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.

Meeting Point

We meet in Piazza del Duomo, 41, directly across from the cafe of the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. Your guide will have a signboard that says, “Walks In Europe.”
